Website Content: 5 Tips On How To Improve Yours
Although you may enjoy designing your website, the truth is your design is not the most important component. That would be your content. Here are 5 tips on how to post the best possible content.
1. Do proofread
Make sure you proofread every post you create on your website for spelling and grammar errors. This is one of the easiest things you can do. Just read over your posts a few times, and you’re done. Not proofreading and having errors can make you look unprofessional, which can prevent visitors from returning to your site. Need help with checking for spelling and grammar errors? Try an automated proofreader, such as Grammarly. (http://www.grammarly.com/)
2. Don’t plagiarize
There should be no plagiarized content on your website. You may think you can get away with it, but the search engines will catch you. When they do, you could be blacklisted, preventing your site from being seen by others. Also, if word gets around that you are posting plagiarized material, you will lose visitors. Just don’t do it.
3. Don’t post racist, sexist or homophobic content
Do not use racist, sexist or homophobic tones in your posts. Do not use stereotypes in your posts. Do it only if you want to be known as a racist, sexist or homophobic blogger or website owner. This should be common sense, but you would be surprised at the number of websites that contain offensive material.
4. Do keep it brief and easy
Have you ever heard the expression “keep it short and sweet”? Keep in mind that most of your readers want instant gratification. They do not want to spend lots of time reading through your content to figure out what you are trying to say. Make sure you use simple words that they are certain to understand. Chances are that most of your readers are not going to care that you have a broad vocabulary. They just want to read content that is good and that they can understand.
5. Don’t post false information
You should never post information that you know is false. In fact, if you are posting false information to harm someone, this is libel, which could get you in serious trouble with the law. Eventually, someone is going to figure out if you are posting false information on your website. Always tell the truth, even if it’s not the most exciting thing.
The major part of your website is your content. Have good content and visitors are certain to follow.

Amazon Who’s lurking in Layneworth?
It’s the Buscettos—a charming family who live in a nice house?
Not quite.
The Buscettos look human, but they’re not human. They’re Zxxtergins, a type of little-known monster who has roamed the Earth since the fifth century. The youngest Buscetto, beautiful eighteen-year-old Litria, is in search of gorgeous females for sex, followed by food. Her nightly behavior wrecks havoc, causing her family to fear exposure and resulting in grave concern, extra work, and late nights for Layneworth detectives.
When nude and mutilated dead women appear, almost daily, across Layneworth, Detective Brenda Martin, and her partner Robert Moretti, are on the case. The mayor, before his untimely demise, preached to beware of werewolves, and few believed him. But as the killings increase, Brenda thinks she may have more than just a serial killer on her hands. Will Brenda discover the true monsters, and what happens if she does?
